Master of Laws – International Law

In an increasingly globalized world, international law is a vibrant and fast-moving area of law. The University of Essex LLM International Law offers the opportunity to study across a wide range of modules in the areas of Public international law, Human Rights, Commercial, Trade and Maritime law. Students will learn about the foundations of the international legal system, and will examine theoretical perspectives and the practice of its institutions and processes, while specializing in particular areas.

 

Throughout the course students will have the opportunity to study key areas, including but not limited to: public international law, international human rights law, international law of the sea, carriage of goods by sea, and financing international trade.
