The University of Essex research activity and supervision for MPhil Computing and Electronic Systems is concentrated in the following principal research areas: biometrics, evolutionary-fuzzy systems, neuro-genetic systems, computational intelligence and games, embedded systems, intelligent inhabited environments and robotics. Essex’s cross-disciplinary projects draw on the expertise of their electronic engineers, computer scientists, mathematicians, physicists and psychologists.
