Master of Arts – Aesthetics and Art Theory (Work Placement)

Unlike most courses on art theory, this MA programme grounds its problems and concepts in the appropriate philosophical context, notably in the work of Kant and of Kant’s Romantic critics, and of Benjamin, Adorno and more recent thinkers.

The course will prepare you for careers in the arts, education and public policy, and for doctoral research in art, art theory, and art history, as well for interdisciplinary research across the humanities and social sciences.
