Though international investments in equities and debt instruments have increased significantly in the past two decades, investors are yet to realise the full benefits of international diversification. Examining various issues related to international investments, including the roadblocks and opportunities, will be both challenging and exciting. More importantly, it will carry broad policy implications. Students will be guided by Abertay’s academics with working experience in the financial industry as well as having academic publications in international peer-reviewed journals. A research degree at Abertay is excellent preparation for a career as a researcher and an academic, as well as a diverse range of professions outside of academia, for example, in consultancy work.
