A research degree in labour migration would allow students to explore highly- and/or low-skilled labour migration from a sociological perspective, critically engaging with literature from a wide array of disciplinary areas comprising migration studies, sociology, management and human resource management, economics and others. Example topics include the use of migrant workers within the employment relationship or their inclusion in, and engagement with, the labour market abroad.
