Abertay has a particular expertise in the areas of law relating to human trafficking, labour law, human rights, the law relating to debt, intellectual property, and corporate law and governance. They welcome applications from students considering research into these areas. These are matters which are strongly influenced by political developments within Europe and also by public awareness of the interconnected nature of a business, the availability of human labour, and the need for businesses and governments to act responsibly and in accordance with an established principle of good governance.
