Abertay’s research culture encourages areas of cross-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary working that are consubstantial to the latest evolutions of the marketing discipline. They are particularly attentive to the latest evolutions in knowledge and practice that relate to strategic and digital marketing, and consumer behaviour. They are a member of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) network and work closely with businesses. Abertay preserves this proximity by encouraging dialogue with companies, organising guest speakers in the classroom and giving their students the opportunity to work on problems facing real businesses.
