Building surveyors are advisors for the property and construction industry, identifying defects and suggesting options for maintenance and repair. They work on the development of new buildings and the restoration of existing properties across residential, commercial, industrial, leisure and heritage projects. Students will develop an understanding of property and construction economics, building technology, building pathology, project and contract management, conversion and adaptation of buildings, heritage and conservation and law applied to surveyors.
