Our MSc Food Security and Development course addresses the challenges of global food insecurity and poverty.
This program will prepare students for a career in the international food security and development sectors. It provides a multi-disciplinary understanding of the structure and operation of food systems in developing countries, and how these systems interact with human development policies and interventions at international, national and local levels.
On this master’s program students will:
  • develop a multidisciplinary understanding of how food systems work in developing countries, and the main drivers of global food insecurity, malnutrition and poverty.
  • build knowledge of how food systems interact with institutions and development policies at international, national and local levels.
  • gain the conceptual and practical skills necessary for the analysis and development of planned food security interventions.
